Timber cutting licence

1. Completed Application
2. A verified copy of the deed certified by Grama Niladhari
3. Consent letters of other owners (should be certified by Grama Niladhari)
4. If trees are throw out for new construction purpose approved building plan should be admitted
5. If the Owner is abroad the power of attorney
6. If court verdicts are relevant verified copied of them on the land
7. If trees are removed for development purposes relevant document to substantiate it

Timber transportation permit request

1. Completed Application
2. A verified copy of the deed certified by Grama Niladhari
3. Transaction receipt given by the land owner when purchase of timber
4. Consent letters of other owners attested by G.N. when there are several heirs
5. Originals of tree felling permit for jack tree Breadfruit trees female Palmyra palm trees
6. The timber list attested by Grama Niladhari

Extension of timber transport licence

1. Originals of police entry
2. Original of transport permit issued by DS
3. Grama  Niladhari report when not transporting

Renewal and issuing of excise licence

1. Approved letter issued by excise commissioner
2. Renewal of excise
3. Approved letter issued by excise commissioner
4. Two copies of release certificate of tax paid by Inland Revenue commissioner/provincial revenue commissioner licence of past year
